Many dental problems develop quietly. A check-up lets the dentist spot early decay, gum changes and other concerns before they become painful or complicated.
A common starting point
Many adults are advised to see a dentist about every six months. People with healthy mouths and low risk may be advised to come less often, while others need more frequent visits.
Do not wait for pain
Pain is often a late sign. Book a visit if you notice bleeding gums, sensitivity, a broken tooth or anything that feels different.
Your dentist will recommend a recall interval that suits your own oral health.
